About the Role

We are looking for an experienced .NET Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, scalable REST APIs and backend services that power the Axiean platform.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain robust .NET Core / .NET 8 backend services
Architect and implement highly scalable RESTful APIs
Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate user-facing elements
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability
Design and maintain database schemas and perform query optimization
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following Clean Architecture principles
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in backend development
Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem
Extensive experience building scalable REST APIs
Deep understanding of database design (SQL/PostgreSQL) and ORMs (Entity Framework)
Experience with Clean Architecture, CQRS, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Docker
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have

Experience with microservices architecture
Knowledge of Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka
Previous experience working in a fast-paced SaaS startup
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
