It runs a keyword-scoring algorithm that ranks your current goals by relevance to your new request, then feeds the top 5 most similar existing goals into the AI prompt. This prevents the AI from suggesting goals that overlap with what your teams are already pursuing.

Does the AI generate Key Results with specific targets and units?

Yes. The AI is constrained by a strict JSON schema that requires every Key Result to include a title, a numeric target value, and a unit of measurement (e.g., '25 new enterprise accounts' or '90% customer satisfaction score'). This ensures the output is immediately actionable and measurable.

What are the suggested KPIs and how are they different from Key Results?

Key Results measure whether a specific Objective is being achieved. Suggested KPIs are operational health metrics the AI believes your team should monitor alongside the new goals — for example, 'Monthly Churn Rate' when you're pursuing a retention Objective. KPIs are categorized by type (Revenue, Growth, Engagement, etc.) and saved as separate trackable entities in your KPI dashboard.

Simply uncheck the ones you want to discard and click 'Save Selected' — only the items you've approved will be created in your dashboard. You can also click 'Start Over' to regenerate with a different prompt.
